As one of the world’s most renowned photographers, Thomas Schauer has had a passion for capturing moments from an early age. Born in Austria in 1969, Thomas spent the first half of his life living and working there. With a number of clients in the U.S., he now spends much of his time working out of his NYC studio while maintaining relationships with his European clientele. His has worked with Nespresso, Uncle Ben’s, Grand Marnier, BBDO, The New York Times, Henkel and Masterfoods. Chefs Daniel Boulud, David Bouley and José Andrés have all had Thomas work on various cookbook projects. In 2012, he was rewarded with the Gourmand World Cookbook Award for the “Best Cocktail and Drink Book Worldwide” for Cocktails.
