2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar (30g)
-
2 Tbsp olive oil (30g)

Leave out overnight and transfer to the refrigerator the next day.
Recipe Note
Recipe Note
This recipe can be made ahead and kept up to 1 month.
The shape of the onions can also be short julienne. If you want to pulse them through a food processor to save on hand cutting, make sure to rinse and drain them very well through a sieve before continuing with marination.
Usage Ideas
Oz marinated red onions are great to have on hand for salads, roasted or rich dishes that could use a caramelized kick, or tossed through vegetables prior to oven roasting.
