Drink
Makes 1 drink
Erika Coughlin
5-7 juniper berries (pink peppercorns work well with this drink, too)
3 oz of Terra Gin
Ice (Lots! Nothing beats an ice-cold Gin and Tonic)
2-3 dashes of grapefruit bitters
2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
6-7 oz of tonic (I used a 6.8 oz bottle of Fever Tree Indian Tonic)
A few slices each of: Lemon and Orange (Any variety will do)
Persian cucumbers sliced to line the glass
Sprig of rosemary
I like to serve this Gin and Tonic in a large burgundy style wine glass, but any style glass will do. Add your juniper berries to the glass along with the 3 oz of Terra Gin. I usually let the berries soak in the gin while I prep the fruit and cucumber slices. Fill glass 3/4 of the way with ice. Add the dashes of both grapefruit and angostura butters, stir till combined.
Add the sliced cucumbers along the sides of the glass, then add the sliced lemon and oranges. (I use a chopstick to help move the cucumber along the glass.) Pour in the tonic, add a sprig of rosemary and enjoy!
