Thick slices of broccoli cook up tender and crisp in the oven. A great use of the Pierre Poivre N7 blend that shows how well it goes with vegetables. 

 

 

Tomahawk Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli
  • Pierre Poivre N7 spice
  • Fleur de sel or kosher salt depending on what you have
  • Olive oil
  • 1 lemon

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Slice the broccoli lengthwise into thick slices (about 1/2"), slicing larger stems in half lengthwise also. Some florets may fall off, this is ok.
  2. Rub the florets with olive oil, Pierre, and salt and roast for 10-12 minutes per side, until well browned.
  3. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
