
Roasted Red Onions
Slow roasted red onions caramelize to perfection with help from silan, red wine, and great spices.

Ingredients
- 1 pound of red onions, cut in half (from pole to pole) with skin on

2 Tbsp Ana blend

1 Tbsp Fleur de sel

1 Tbsp Pierre Poivre blend
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup silan
- ½ cup red wine
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In an oven safe baking dish, evenly sprinkle the Ana, fleur de sel, Pierre Poivre, fresh thyme, and olive oil.
- Place the onion halves, cut side down, into pan and drizzle on the silan and red wine.
- Bake until tender, about 1 hour.
- Carefully peel back the skin and remove when ready.
